Default Uploading picture from computer

How do I upload a picture to post in a thread from my computer? I see there is all the possible uploads from photo storage sites, but how do I do it from my PC? Do I load to my album, then post it?

I'd like to post a picture to the Bugs thread.

Thanks

You would attach it as a file.

Click on "new reply" (or whatever the button says)

In your screen where you leave a reply, click on "manage attachments"

Click "browse"

Select the folder where you have the photo stored and voila! Upload.

Submit reply.

1. Go to hosting site (e.g Welcome to Flickr - Photo Sharing)

2. Create Account

3. Upload pictures using site's file transfer system (look for something that says 'Upload Pictures' or similar).

4. Follow instructions in this thread: How NOT to post thumbnail image?

5. Disregard PowerPix's advice in this thread. The attachment feature of forums like this are pretty shoddy, i.e low res imaging and generally annoying to look at compared to embedding a picture in your post by using off site hosting.

While I do agree you, he asked, I told. He already said he knew there were other ways.

Fair enough, but I honestly believe that if you want to post a picture in a thread then you should completely ignore the attachment feature, use a hosting site (or get your own hosting) and preferably learn the bbCode or html to post it.

(And I think 'he' is a she )

Thanks.. I do have a Flickr account. So will do that. I like to have the bigger image, so don't want it to be the little thumbnail image. I was hoping there was a way to do it without having to post somewhere else first.

No problem with the "he".. that's what I get for using a name with man on the end.

Just checking to see which one I like the best. Gonna load from my Flickr account too.. and see which one I like the best.

Thanks
