Default Magic Lantern Workshop books/dvds?

Does anyone have one of these? It is worth it? I found that they have a workshop book for my specific camera. It looks different from all the rest which seem to be more like extended versions of the owner's manual. This seems to be more of a hands on/practical book with assignments and so forth.
Are these books really what they seem to be?

I'm not sure about the workshop books, but my Magic Lantern Guide was the first accessory I bought when I got my D5000. It is a lot easier to understand than the user's guide that came with the camera. I don't refer to it much anymore, but every once in a while I will look something up.

I do make a point of getting a PDF version of user's guides from the manufacturer's websites for all my toys. Then I can have Acrobat Reader do a search for something I need if I'm in a hurry.
