Default Only in Africa

Had to laugh at this. My cousin went to get his British passport at the embassy in Pretoria.
Some enterprising dude had set up his passport photo studio on the side of the road, with his printer (printing from the P&S running off a car battery.
R40 ($6) got you a 4 Home Office regulation images.

Necessity (and war) is the mother of all invention!

Hey Candleman - I am up in Joburg this weekend for the All Blacks V Springboks rugby at soccer City.

It is going to be EPIC, but suspect that the mean machine from mud island is going to do the business. Boks selections are still woeful

cool.. AB"S would dominate anyway enjoy!
not much of a rugby follower myself.. even though much of my youth was mis-spent at the Statium in Durban cheering for the Sharks.

i do wave the AB's flag nowadays, even though i was born with the bokkies.
Next year wil be nuts around here with the World Cup coming

are vuvuzelas a problem at the rugby games? ..been a loooong time since i've been there.
