Default Flickr Pro.

Well my pro account ran out, and consequently my 100MB's is exceeded (as I upload everyday for 365). I have no plans of renewing it yet. I know it is only $25, but I figured it's not quite worth it.
But what are your thoughts? What keeps you coming back for more Flickr Pro? Personally I liked it for the year I had it, but with Snapixel and Facebook, I can share my photos there. Of course if someone wants to see how my photos really ought to look, they can just go to my website..

One of the reasons I pay for the service provided by Flickr is so that they can take care of the hosting of my images when I use them on my website. Just the time saved from not creating a couple of different sizes (so you can display images at a reasonable size but also allow people to view them larger) pays for it over the year and then I can treat everything else as a bonus.

I heard some horror story that anything uploaded to Flickr can be used by them without photographers rights. I have no idea at all if its true but id like to know if anyone has also heard about it ?

Used by them how?

Flickr's TOS allow Flickr to display your photos on Flickr as long as you have them up there (so if you delete them they're gone, and they're only used for the purpose that you've uploaded them, e.g. to display on Flickr). You have the option to set your license to Creative Commons, but the default license by Flickr is all rights reserved. And you can opt to have Getty license your images, but that's an opt in thing.

Other than that, you only have to worry about the same things you worry about anywhere. Personally, I consider Flickr's TOS to be quite decent compared to other places like PhotoBucket.
