food for thought - photographers websites

I came across this really fun and neat site/blog today called "the off beat bride". On that site, there was a blog about photographers websites. I actually laughed because I've always sort of felt the same exact way about everything she said in here. Since my long term goal it to eventually become good enough to consider myself "professional" I wanted to know what you all thought about it.

If this offends anyone I apologize, it's really not the intent. I just figure it would be an interesting topic because there's a good mix of pro's and newbies on here and a wide variety of locations and ages.. it always makes for an interesting debate.

Most if not all of the rants she had have been mentioned on one post or another here on DPS. You can search posts for 'critique my website' posts and check it out (plus some positives on what to do).

Nice find - all valid points.

Ironically she bitches about giant headers and easily navigated sites.

Yet the site it's posted on has a giant ass header and is confusing LOL
