Default First L lens (Canon)

Well, I just bought my first L series lens made by canon after many extra hours and working on weekends to afford it

I have the 50mm f/1.8, but I really wanted to add to it with another good focal length prime, and an L series lens.

Bought the 135mm f/2.0 L, and it should be at my house in the morning. I'm excited!!!

Wow, that's so good to hear! Makes me feel even better about the amount of effort it took to build up to it. Can't wait to test it.

I hear great things about the 135L. Use it in good health!

You're gonna love it so much you'll find excuses to use it, even when another lens would be a better fit. You have also just shut yourself off from the temptation of ever getting a 70-200 f/2.8L IS USM. Enjoy!! The 135L is one of those lenses that never leaves your bag.

I hate waiting for packages. Hopefully it's not on the conveyor belt stuck in an endless loop. This could add days to your transit time.

Oh, no doubt (the was a "just kidding" indicator). It's just that the 135L is black, half the size/cost, and small, light, and fast enough for me to do this:

A 70-200 is more versatile, hands down, but I prefer the extra stop of max. aperture and the creamy smooth bokeh over IS and a zoom range. Different kids, different squids.
