Default Weekly Poll: Do you have any of your pictures hanging in your house?

Ok, so digital photography often means that you don't print your photos or if you do it's for someone who doesn't want to look at them on the computer. Now, I know this isn't always true, so the question this week is: Do you have any of your pictures hanging in your house?

If you don't, is there any reason or is it just because you haven't done it? If you do, how big are the pictures, have you framed them, etc? If you got them printed somewhere because they are larger, would you recommend the place that you had them printed at? And of course, where have you hung them? And hey, why not show us a picture of your pictures? lol

I just hung up one of my own pictures, so that's where this week's poll comes from I'll add a picture of my own picture later, but for now, let's hear if you have your own art hanging in your home!

I do have a couple pictures that I have printed out for myself. I have not gotten around to hanging them up in frames yet but do have a portrait of my dog up.

PS Nicole you have a typo in your post. In the last line of the first paragraph.

lol thanks I'm going to blame it on the injury incurred from actually hanging said picture up last night... I was putting nails into the picture frame hooks and it wouldn't go through... that is, until my finger was right behind the hole. Jabbing a finishing nail under your finger nail hurts a lot

Since 90% of my photos are my kids, I voted a definite yes!

I print them on my photo printer all at 8x10. I frame them all the same in slim black rimmed photo frames in a groups of 4-6 throughout the house. They get switched out periodically as the kids grow, I take better photos, etc.

I don't have a photo of them at this house but can take one later...

I've got 2 right now. One of my roommate and each of our girlfriends at a basketball game right above the coffee maker in the dorm room. The other is one that I got at a Winthrop soccer game.

The funny thing is, I took down newspaper clippings of my photographs to hang up the soccer one. Go figure.

i definitely have more than a few of mine hanging........it's not that i have progeny to brag on.......i just like decorating on the cheap.....

i've done all my own printing.....nothing special.....and nothing bigger than an 8 x 10....a couple of my bathrooms are make shift galleries with dozens of images from friends, family, and myself.....

here's a really crappy shot of one in the kitchen bath.....

IMG_7177

i never realized how hard it would be to take a picture of a picture in a room as big as a poor man's closet.....

thanks
