Default Hello!
Hi everyone,

I have been lurking on here for about a week, reading through various threads and taking it all in.

My name is Sammy and i have been taking photos since i was about 15 when i got my first camera, a Canon IX EOS, i then got my first DSLR 4 years ago, the Canon 400D and then was a very lucky girl 18 months ago when my wonderful boyfriend bought me the Canon 5D mkII.

My main area of photography is pets, well actually, not just any pets, but sled dogs, including the working of them. I own 2 Alaskan Malamutes, currently anyway, and they are my main focus when practicing my shots. I will share these in a new thread.

I hope to post here as often as I can, especially in the coming "working season" which starts in October, and hope I can learn from what seems like a great friendly forum.

Hi sammy,

Welcome to the site,i am new too it myself have been taking the odd peep now and then for awhile then decided to join and glad i have,as there is lots of photos to look at and plenty of helpful info.

I and i suppose lots of other members like the dogs in your photo and look forward to more photos from you in the near future
