Default Name on Pic/No Name on Pic?? help

Hi, this might seem like a stupid question but here it goes.. oh (maybe i should lay out the situation first).. i upgraded from a point and shoot fuji to a canon rebel t1i since i got lucky at a casino (yay me).. then i started going on photography fieldtrips with photographers, + love learning all i can on dps while wearing my pj and sippin coffee,, and i have started taking more photos instead of just snapping pictures.. i did 2 prom sessions for friends (as a gift to them when asked, the more practice the better and i would have felt funny charging$$) but this has lead to others approaching me for gatherings and family photos since seeing the prom photos.. but now others from the photography fieldtrips are mentioning that i should put my name on the photos?? like Milosmom Photography, does that seem ok? i'm not a "photographer".. but by word of mouth and seeing my photos this has lead to more photo contacts. and if i used my name would you use ('s) after your name ??

I'm doing a Paid birthday party this weekend thats why i'm asking about putting my name on the photos.. thanks for taking the time to read this.. your thoughts would be appreciated.

I put my watermark on every image I post online, but never on prints. However, on the back of my prints I have my lab print " © S Harrington Photography - Do Not Copy"

I only place a watermark on select images. My personal shots almost never get watermarked. But clients images often do. If I just handed them the shots, they would just take them, and I would never see them again. If you give them a low resolution version, they will just put them up on a social media site or print out some 4x6's and you will never see them again. If you give them a watermarked image that can't be cropped to remove the watermark, then they have to come back for the real shots. If you aren't worried about making money off the images, then there is no reason to watermark them. Remember, if you took the image, you have the copyright, regardless of you watermarking them or not.

I place a digital signature on ALL of my prints. It's small, non-distracting and elegant. Well, as elegant as my crappy handwriting could be for the sample I use.
