Please take a look at my year in photos. I begun the year on August 9, 2009 with a brand new Canon Powershot G10 point and shoot camera, and minimal photography experience. I hadn't taken any pictures except a few random vacation shots using disposable cameras for at least 15 years. This is my first digital camera.
You can clearly see my progression through the year. I took approximately 14,000 shots with no to very minimal photoshopping with a couple of exceptions. Comments and criticisms welcomed. Enjoy! Album 1 - 1-200 365 Project (1-200) | Facebook. Album 2 - 201-365 365 Project (201-365) | Facebook |

Congratulations!! I started a 365 on New Years Day and got to around the middle of March and gave up cos I ran out of things around the house to photograph
![]() Good on you for achieving it!! I had a look at your albums and you have some great shots. What a great set. Is that a Siamese cat? She's got lovely blue eyes.

I'm also with ZannieGirl I was also drawn to the animals. There was a really cute pug dog if that's the breed on Day 42 those eyes just melted my heart lol!

Here is my tip: any day you don't feel like taking a picture, or can't find a subject, take one anyway.
There are some obvious "throw aways" in my album; days I was sick, busy, or simply lacked motivation but I told myself all I had to do was meet the technical requirement for that day and that required the taking of one picture - even if it was of a blank wall. As you can see, there are no blank wall photos so I did manage to do better than that. ![]() You literally just keep plugging away. I was so sick of this project by the end (frankly, the last 6 months). The last 30 days were the most difficult. But I have zero regrets. I even took photos yesterday. I didn't think I would pick up my camera for at least a month but a crop of sunflowers drew me.
