Default Client viewing site - but NOT for selling prints!

Hey, I snooped around the Earning part of the forum, but this wasn't really money-related as I'm not selling any pictures! I just photographed a picnic at a nursing home, and I wanted to put the pictures in a preferably private gallery online, but just so some of the family members can view them. I took over 300 photos, but the nursing home only wanted some picture to post on a bulletin board and I had a lot of families there ask for group photos, and I had tons of great candids that I thought I could put online for people to print at home and what-not.

Thanks! <3

If you have Lightroom and a web server, you can create a gallery an HTML gallery in Lightroom and upload it to your web server. If it must be password protected, I think a .htaccess file that would control that.

Ahh ok.. I don't have a web server =\. It doesn't have to be password protected, but this was my first real event I photographed and I wasn't sure if people would be ok with having their photos or photos of their senior loved ones in a flickr gallery.

You know, Shutterfly lets you create free "Share" sites that can be password protected and also let you download the files (1600x1200 maximum size) for free. It's a possible option as long as you let people know they don't have to buy them and tell them how they can download them.

That sounds great! I was going to have the nursing home leave a little note or something so families can just go to the link and follow simple directions, I'll take a look into that right away! Thanks!!
