Default Local Photographer/Author

So I have been reading a book that was written about my specific camera model. It is a really great book that covers more than just the settings, but when and why to use certain settings. I have learned a ton and I am only on chapter 5.
So I went to the author's website, just to check it out and he had a facebook link. I went to that and the dude lives like an hour from my house.
I wonder if I could talk him into giving me private photography lessons for free? LOL. Just kidding. That would never happen. But wouldn't that be awesome? I am going to check to see if he offers classes of some sort.

Jeff Revell. I see you are in Northern Va. Ha, isn't that funny. This guy is from Manassas and I am right outside of Winchester, just across the WV line.
