Default Blue tinge

I have been seeing a blue tinge on my photos, seems when I take photos when it is very bright outside. Is this due to the light or is there something else that can be making this occur and what can I do to reduce this, other than using photoshop to fix it later. Thanks.

Your white balance is off. Adjust the white balance in camera, try daylight setting or adjust it manually till it's correct.

I would need to see an example to say for sure, but you can get chromatic aberrations (blue/purple edges) in high contrast scenes (most lenses do this to some extent). It could also be "ghosting"...a blueish area in a scene, also due to lens coating/ light diffraction.
