I literally have thousands of photos of my kids. Most live on my hard drive (and backed up), but I do burn CD's of my favorites (such as vacations, etc.) and I have my absolute favorites printed. My husband has a huge bulletin board in his office filled with 8x10's that I've had printed for him. I also post family photos on Facebook and tag other family members.

I'm sure most people on DPS are not pros.. in fact, I think the vast majority aren't.
As for what I do. I keep all on HD which is backed up to another HD and also backed up online (Mozy). I do many individual prints for albums.. but I also use Blurb to do an annual yearbook with the relevant photos from the year. I also facebook lots of my stuff, and put on flickr my "photography" photos, ie the non-snapshots! |

I post just about everything to my Flickr account. I also have many 11x14 frames around the house with prints. But most importantly I use those digital picture frames. I have two in the house and my wife has one at work with hundreds of pictures on them that change ever few seconds. I also have one that is WiFi enabled that links via the Framechannel on the internet to my Flickr account, so it is constantly showing the new pictures that I upload. That one sits on the kitchen counter. I gave a similar one to my parents and they have it on their kitchen counter.

Hi, I'm new here (been lurking for ages and recently registered) and thought this'd be an easy topic to jump in on!
My pics are kept on an SD card, backed up on an external HD and my favourites are printed and dotted all around the house. In fact, I recently took my daughter to Wales and had one of the pics I took there printed to canvas. It may not be techinically perfect (or even good ) but I love it.I keep wanting to make a photobook, but I'm not organised enough for that!

I have a terabyte external HDD reserved especially for all my photos

unfortunatly I still have not taken proper back up procedures yet... I know bad me, and ill cry if I loose them! But I do try to save to CDs every few months! I print my favorite ones of my family and they are on my walls! Of course my in-laws and my parents have some printed for their walls/desks. As far as where I upload them, I mostly do facebook and flickr!
