What lense did you use?

Thanks for the compliment, IIRC took the waterlily with the Nikon 300 f/4 and Tamron 1.4x teleconverter. I bought the D90 as a body only, so I can't comment on the 18-105 kit lens, but I understand it has a good reputation. I don't much like the way Nikon's new consumer lenses feel (flimsy plastic) but they seem to perform quite well optically.
