Funny Pics
I came across this photo today. I was Huh?, Oh!, No, what?, Aha! - Brilliant. When I had stopped laughing, I thought that this is how a good photo should be. This is how I looked at it: At first glance it look like a ordinary bachelor party. Nothing special except it looks cold to walk on the ice. Then you see the guy diving forward. What? That got to hurt! Why is he doing that? And then the cranks in my head starts turning. I'm looking all over the photo for clues. Then you see the tiny water movement under the guy's feet. Ah, he's not standing on ice. He's jumping in the water too! It keeps you look around and wonder for a relatively long time until you get it. I didn't care about exposure, DoF, WB, lighting, distracting objects and sharpness. It was a photo telling a story that make you overlook technical details. A photo that could've been shot with a wristwatch camera in the 90s, but still a fantastic photo. I hope I will learn from this I think this is my photojournalistic side who's ranting here.

I'm thinking thin ice, also. You can see the left foot widen on the guy standing up. His right heel looks as though it went through the ice. The diver is obviously off his meds.
