Default Ansel Adams Photos found at garage sale worth 200 million

Experts: Ansel Adams photos found at garage sale worth $200 million - CNN.com

Wow talk about a lucky guy. If I ever found something like that I would surly sell it to a museums as well since they are have the facilities to properly protect, store and display something like this. I would however be very tempting to hold on to one of my favorites.

Really wish there was a site out there that had a digital version of the glass plates to see what unseen images Ansel had.

Exclamation Ansel Adams photos found at yard sale

Wow.

This guy paid $45 for a box of photographic plates about 10 years ago. Today they're valued at around $200 million.

CNN story.

Default "Lost" negatives or a $200 million scam?

A US school district painter appeared to have struck it lucky after 65 glass negatives he bought for US$45 (NZ$61) at a garage sale were judged the work of American nature photographer Ansel Adams valued at US$200 million (NZ$274m), but Adams' family has cast doubt on the find.
