about copyright in images

Is there any opensource software which can imbed copyright symbol onto my photos.

Any program that does even basic photo editing should work. Look around the program and see if there is a way to place text within or on the image.

Open this and experiment. Now... hold down the {ALT} key (should be down next to the space bar. Holding down the alt key type 0169. Then release all the keys. This should place the © where the cursor was ... easy as pie (or is that PI?).

I use © Jacqueline Alkula, IFPO Member #32835 for most all of my images.....

Faststone Photo resizer will do it..I use it in batch mode all the time..(and its free like gimp)

Yes there is issue with copyright.Many time people has mention copy rights so you beware from such photographs in order to copy of them.

A great free program cann XnView is what I use. I add a small image to the corner of all my images I upload, and it takes me no time in batch. It also does resize and other transformations on the fly.
