Has anyone do a comparison on these products? I have Apperture and still learning how to use the features. Does anyone have a recommendation on what software to use besides Apperture? Thanks in advance for any recommendations.

Can't really compare those two.
As said above the comparison should be between Aperture & Lightroom. PhotoShop = Photo Manipulation(or in-depth editing) Aperture/Lightroom = Photo Adjustments(cropping presets editing colors hue blah blah) Both are great, but if you are not looking to do heavy editing go with Lightroom. Aperture, I have tried a trial and it is not that great as compared to Lightroom. There seem to be more presets and plug ins for lightroom, y'know? Also if you have both Photoshop and Lightroom, you can get a crazy workflow going. It's nice. But just Lightroom will suffice of course, I have used that for a long time till recently. |
