We spent from Friday to Monday at West Sands Holiday Park in Selsey, West Sussex. It was a HUGE complex and Chloe was badgering me to take her on the Bunny Express, a little train that takes you round the entire site. We got as far as the main entrance when just arrived was a party of 6 complete with suitcases etc (mum in a wheel chair, dad, 2 little kids and elderly granny and grandpa. They flagged the train down and the driver politely mentioned that it would be more practical to catch the complex bus as the driver has more space for the luggage. At that moment the bus turned up and the driver took one look at the group, suitcases, lady in wheelchair and drove off!
Fortunately he had to drive round a mini roundabout so the train driver got him to stop and the bus driver no kidding yelled "I aint no f***ing taxi service!! I've got a f***ing timetable to keep!" All this was yelled in front of the whole train complete with little kids! I was discusted! Chloe turned to me and said "why was that bus driver using naughty words" I just said he was having a bad day. Probably been doing the same job too long.Bus drivers at the best of times have a lousy reputation but that driver topped the lot! What kind of impression did that family have just turned up for their holiday. Customer service should be No1 Priority!

Yeah sounds like he gets a lot of grief from his superiors if his bus is late. I think they need to get their priorities strait.
Reminds me of a train accident that happened in Tokyo; the driver of the train was so scared about getting in trouble for being late that he ignored the safety regulations. He tried to make it to the next stop before the train coming the other way used the same track. He didn't make it. |

I don't think I've ever actually encountered a bad bus driver. I've even had one let me on for free, because all I had was a tenner and he had no change.

Not too recently
. Come to think of it I don't think I've ever been on a bus in London...oh no I did once, back in 2006; the night bus back from Camden. Now there was a bus full of characters.
