Default Explination needed !

I'd like if anyone can, an explination on a photo of apple tree flowers that i took one evening .
What i don't understand is that there is a shadow behind the flowers but is was shot against a sky . Here is the pic!

The Exif:
Exposure 0.2 sec (1/5)
Aperture f/16.0
Focal Length 200 mm
ISO Speed 100
Exposure Bias 0 EV
Flash Auto, Fired, Return detected

Thank you to anyone giving an explination.

thats your problem

you caught the motion blur of the flower as it moved during the exposure of Ambient. (thats governed by the shutterspeed)

the flash froze the flowers in place.
so the black is where the flowers were during the exposure before (or after) the flash went off.

There's your problem.
At that distance, you could open the aperture more and not worry about DOF, then increase shutter speed.
Thanks Guys ! It makes sense , should have thought of it !
