Nikon D80 here too. I love it, but wish it shot more than 3 FPS.

Glass is all Nikon

50 f/1.8
24-85 f/3 - 4.5
80-200 f/2.8
300 f/4
TC 14 II which will only work with the 300

Had a Canon IS S2 that was a fantastic camera, but I out grew it.

I always carry my Casio EX-S600 in my purse so I am never without a camera. However, my primary camera, which I shoot with the most is my Nikon D50.

I looked at the Canon/Nikon D-SLRs but settled on the Sony A100 as being the best bang for buck at the time IMO. Plus there's a heap of ex-Minolta lenses out there plus an ever growing range of Carl Zeiss lenses.

Am now waiting (and saving pennies) for the upcming release of the full frame sensor model (A900?) due later this year.

Default What type of camera do you use?

I use an Olympus E500 DSLR, but also use what I learned here must be a bridge Kodak Easyshare, as it has multiple settings. When I don't feel up to lugging my backpack or fiddling much with settings...OK..when I'm being lazy! LOL...I use my Kodak. That's usually for photos of friends at gatherings when I'm wanting a few snaps for memories, rather than missing an event by "working" my camera.

I use a point and shoot, a Traveler DC-5080 which I enjoy but I am finding as I go along it is starting to hold me back with not enough manual controls to play about with.

So I am going to start looking for a new camera, a DSLR so I can play about with it more.

Canon Rebel XTI and a Konica Minolta DIMAGE Z10.
I just got the XTI for Christmas as a surprise present from my wife. Still learning with it.
I have had the Konica for a few years. I bought in on clearance for around $150 at Wal-mart one day. I chose it because it was rather big compared to other point&shoot camera's so it felt like I was actually holding a camera in my hands.I knew nothing about digital camera's when I bought it. I think it takes very, very good pictures for a point & shoot.

I have 2 that I use most, Konica Monolta Dimage Z3 and Z6. Great light cameras, I have them attached to my hip at all times, as I do freelance for the local newspapers. Only problem I have found so far is that they have a hard time focusing in low light.
