Default I wanted to share...

I wanted to share a site where I 've bought some really inexpensive ebooks, no affiliate links, but a link to sign up for Ed's email list.
Newsletter

He's a great teacher and photographer and has 3 different ebook, on Flash, Boudoir, and Poses for Boudoir.

I hope this isn't against the forum rules but I really enjoyed the ebooks I got from the guy and his blog.
Good stuff.

No worries. I always love a good SHORT ebook, especially if it's got good stuff in it.
I have all three of his books and they are well worth the $9.95 for each book...

Ed's an excellent photographer with many years of experience. I know him from another forum.

I learned my wedding photography and strobe from Neil, and Strobist I have his DVD set, so If I am recommending Eds eBook, then yes, I think it's good.

and it's only 10$
Just another persons view to the same destination, great photography.

Hey Dark, thanks for the link.
I was looking at some of your studio set ups on your blog and was wondering why you are shooting at such hi ISO in a controlled environment/ studio?

as you can see I do quite a bit of Hollywood Glamour. In my small area I use smaller Fresnels, as I feel to get real authentic HG, you need to use the Fresnels like they did in the old Hollywood days. So I use smaller fresnels, 200-750 watts lights, instead of the larger ones like 1K or bigger. I prefer to shoot a higher ISO so I don't have motion blur.
or I could just say "Because I can".

you can't trust a person to sit still sometimes.

thanks, asked and answered
The ISO and shutter speed made sense to me, but my thinking was that it would have been easier to increase the available light and keep a lower ISO and better image . low noise.
Can't argue with the end result
