Ditch the music, add the comments for each photo (like the first) and get rid of the search bar. Otherwise it just needs a bit more "oomph". Its a white on a grey background with images. It needs some, for lack of a better word, pizzaz!

+1

I hate going to a website and music is playing. I spend my first few minutes trying to figure out where the controls are to turn it off and not looking at the pictures or site content.

The grey background could work but you'd have to have content that really pops out at you. I see where you're going with the grey background so the eye isn't distracted by the background when looking at the images but the images really have to pop and grab you.

About the music: I'm the type that leaves a site immediately upon being treated to music or video with sound that I haven't had to start myself. Muzak is muzak and I avoid it when I can. I must be getting old.

I think that the scroll work pattern in black on the grey background would be a good touch to give it a big of bling, don't make it loud, just suttle. I agree about the music... turn it off, or have an option to start it (on the top) also, is your logo's swirll work like that on purpose? the swirls are cut off on my IE 6.0 browser, might want to think about moving it to the right instead of having it on the left.

Otherwise, I think the gallery and stuff are great!
