I don't know about copyrights. Have always seen them on pictures. "all rights reserved" or a (c) [with a circle around the C], or watermarks. I am wondering how to get copyrights for your images? Are they different for different countries? What does the C mean? What all do they protect an owner from?

Copyright - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"Copyright is the set of exclusive rights granted to the author or creator of an original work, including the right to copy, distribute and adapt the work. These rights can be licensed, transferred and/or assigned. Copyright lasts for a certain time period after which the work is said to enter the public domain. Copyright applies to a wide range of works that are substantive and fixed in a medium. Some jurisdictions also recognize "moral rights" of the creator of a work, such as the right to be credited for the work." The C stands for Copyright and they're pretty much internationally standardised.

ashNZ is right. If you have taken the pictures then you are the owner of that picture.
We are London Wedding Photographers have a look at our website with the pictures we have taken, you will see that we have started to include logos on our pictures on the bottom. this only prevents people taking the pictures and taking it as their own |
