If someone asked you what you wanted for your birthday and the budget was $200, what camera equipment, accessory, or toy would you ask for?
I have: Nikon D3000 18-55mm VR 55-100 VR 35mm f1.8 Nikon SB600 Flash Crumpler 6 Million Dollar Home A few filters (nothing fancy) I want to upgrade my camera body, but not in the near future. There are so many things to think about and I have no idea. I am mainly a hobby photographer, but I do freelance work for a few local publications, fyi. But I DO love photography. If there was one thing on your gift list, what would it be? I did see the Black Rapids RS-W1 camera strap which looks amazing

What do you like to photograph? That's probably helpful for recommendations. Afterall, if I had $200 I'd probably ask for a reverse Grad ND filter, but if you take portraits, that's going to be very much less than helpful to you.

This Lightstand.
This Umbrella Adapter. This Umbrella. This Wireless Trigger. That should be about $200 and greatly increase your ability to take quality images of your family. |

Me? I'd want a ThinkTank Retrospective 10 (in Pinestone) camera bag. If they weren't all sold out everywhere and unavailable that is. But you have your Crumpler.
Maybe a Manfrotto 190XB tripod with a simple ballhead?
