Default New here...

Hi,
I recently purchased a Sony a330 w/ the standard kit lens. I have had a lot of fun going around shooting different things to learn about my camera. It takes excellent pictures! I do have a question. I desperately need advice on shooting sports in gyms. What section of the forums should I ask this in to get the most response?

Your camera doesn't take excellent pictures. Your camera allows YOU to take excellent pictures. You're in control, you make the pictures - the camera is just a tool...

Welcome to the DPS!

EDIT: IF you're looking for advice on shooting sports in a gym, then you could try posting something specific in the "Technique - Photographing People" forum. You've probably noticed that people here tend to be pretty helpful.

Russ.

Alright! Another NC'er! Welcome aboard! I will echo pretty much what Swisstony said. Your camera can't do anything without you! Check out the Photographing People section under the techniques section. Also, you may want to check out the critique area in the sports section. You will see some good advice in here, by people that want to help, and are mostly really cool!

Have fun!

Hi PG,

What the others said really and nice to see another Sony user on board. If you haven't found it already, theres also a Sony section down near the bottom of the forums in 'digital cameras'. Always sound advice there if you get any gear specific questions.
