Sure, but can I ask what the website is for?
What I mean is are you wanting people to hire you through that webiste? Or is it to use as a C.V. reference to prospective employers? Or just to show off your stuff to whoever wants to look at it? Or some other purpose? |

Ahem, here we go.
It's BORING. I'm sorry, but a grey stripe on a black box with a dark grey background with a hard-to-read dark great text is boring as all hell, not to mention difficult to read. Images are good, if a bit small. Gallery works well. I'd ditch the description in the grey stripe in the galleries, as they add nothing. The Macro one is actually factually wrong. From a general point of view, "XPOZuRZ" sounds like you're 12. And it doesn't match your URL or titles. Bottom of page: What are the benefits of joining your site? More importantly, if your goal is simply to show off your work, why even bother having people "join" your site? There are no rollovers to speak of, so I never know whether my mouse is over something clickable. It works. The galleries work and are effective. BUt the whole thing puts me to sleep.

I would add that the gallery previews are too small, there's space enough to make them bigger (I would say at least twice as big.). When you open the images they should then fill the whole page (without having to scroll of course), with an 'x' in the corner to indicate how to close it again. Also, what is a "fotog"?

first of all i asked for critiques (suggestions) not hatespeak. boring is a point of view and is understandable as an opinion. however, calling someone 12 simply because of an effort to be different is rude, not constructive criticism. i can not change the url until i but the domain name.
i did just start on it (this moring) and i am nowhere near finished or satisfied. hence the reason i asked for SUGGESTIONS. there is no benefit to "join" the site i just havent edited that out yet. fotog is simply another effort to be different. obviously none of you have any knowledge of underground art. as far as the size of the images i was planning to change those. the thumbs are part of the template provided by the host. however i plan on making the pop up images larger. "The Menuing on the right kinda come across a bit powerpointesque, a bit blocky" thank you for CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. i was thinking that this morning. |

I didnt say you WERE 12, I said that the name (XPOZuRZ) sounds like something a child would come up with to sound cool. DIfferent or not, it doesn't come off as professional, or even someone you'd want to do any kind of business with. It comes off as "OMFG i hav a cam and i tak gret pix wit it!" That's the impression I get and I seem to not be the only one (as TheDarkReaver has attested). My suggestion was to change it: your choice.

Though a bit blunt, Osmosis is right. If you are wanting folks to respect you as a professional, you should present yourself, and your site, as professionally as possible. Different is a good thing, but I would suggest that you attempt to show your viewers how different you are through your photos. Your "hellfreeze" image, for instance, that's definitely different, and it made me do a double-take.
The color scheme definitely needs tweaking. The dark colors are not bad in and of themselves, but too much is too much. Very few websites can pull it off successfully. If it goes with the "underground" theme you mentioned, and that is the main audience you are targeting, then run with it. But after looking at the majority of your photos, I don't know if that's the case. Sorry if I'm wrong, but first impressions and all that...

Hmm, if you are trying to be different, do it with your photography, not your spelling.
I don't think a person is going to get the message that you are trying to be different, if your photography isn't. When I see "fotog" I think "teenage girl trying to make money with her 'cam'". Sorry. Just my thoughts, not trying to be mean.
