Hi EveryOne,
I don't know if I should be concerned about this or not. When I breath as much as I can or a deep breath the right side (from the right shoulder to the lower back) of my back muscle hurts ( real bad ) some time. I don't know if its sore or what. Sometimes it doesn't even hurt when I breath in real deep intill I can't breath in anymore. Does anyone else had this happened to??? Any Advice???

My advice is if you're concerned enough to ask people on a forum, you're probably concerned enough that it's worth seeing your local GP. Probably not the answer you're looking for, and maybe there are a few people on here that can help you, but I think a doctor will be able to help you more than a forum.

Where in your back? Just below your shoulder blade, or more along your sides?
It sounds muscular, and it could just be a slightly pulled muscle. Your back has a lot of interconnected muscles, so pulling one can hurt a few. If it's up into your shoulder blade, then it's your main muscle that runs up along your spine, near the middle of each side of your back. It runs under your shoulder blade and down into your bum area and is fairly easy to pull. If it's further around the sides, then it's your lateral muscles, and those are easy to pull too, but start just under the armpit and end just near the hips, at the back. It could also be any of the fast-twitch small muscles, that are very easy to strain and hurt like hell. As I said, it sounds muscular, and shouldnt be an issue. If it still hurts a few days from now, then I'd see a doctor.

This is NOT the place to ask health questions. Go see a physician, or at least ask on a health forum -- you really don't know what the advice you get on a photo forum will be worth! :P

Hi! I appreciate what dcclark says but this is General Discussions that can be about anything and everything not necessarily photography related.
Back to the bad back issue. My mum is a retired physiotherapist and now and again my back plays me up and here are a few tips that I have picked up from her: 1) Place your hands behind your head and link your fingers. Make sure your elbow are straight out and very quickly yank them backwards. This can give some relief. 2) Roll up a towel and place on the floor and lie down on the floor placing the rolled up towel down your spine and push your spine into the floor thus stretching your muscles. 3) If the pain is in the lower back, lean forward and try to touch your toes then very slowly lean back as far as you can. 4) Most back pain is muscular and invariably heals in time on its own but if the pain is really bad take strong painkillers. 5) If symptoms persist. See your GP!

If I may, I don't think dcclark was suggesting that other things cannot be discussed here, just that a photography forum probably isn't the best place to get health advice

Invest in a reusable ice pack (or two) and a velcroed Ace bandage to hold it in place.
Beats the hell out of frozen peas.Do not even think about hesitating to see the doctor if it's getting worse instead of better.

Oh for gods sake, don't ask or take medical advice from unknown's on the internet.
Your GP would rather see 100 false alarms than miss a real one, GO AND SEE THEM!!!!!
