Default Stuck for a name

If you read my post you will see that I am starting a new project. It is a multi-part project, I am calling the overall project "A day in the life of..."

What should I call each part that is a new location? Each of them will be a project in themselves beneath the over arching umbrella project. Should the umbrella be called a theme and each section is called a project?

What do you think?

Keep it simple. Name your project for what it is, then your sub categories should be just simple. day one "Joe shot Vegas" Day two "joe shot France"
The simpler but to the pint the better.imo

Not trying to burst your bubble, but "A day in the life of..." in regards to photography is sooooo overused that it feels very unoriginal whenever I see it. You've got to be able to come up with something better I believe...
There are a series of famous photography books titled this and it comes across as almost trying to graft on it's success.. which i doubt you want.

Just my .02 eurocents

Could go with some like 'Dawn to Dusk' rather than 'A Day in the Life...'.

So for example you'd have 'Dawn to Dusk: Central Station'.

Yeah I agree, I also think photographers should stop doing portraits too, all the famous photographers have done portraits to death, everyone else is just riding on their coat tails and they should think of something original to do.

I like that better, firstly because the name can stand by itself, secondly because the sub-projects can use the name, thirdly because I won't be there the entire 24 hours so it's not really an entire day.

Nevermind.. I see opinions aren't your thing.

But just to be sure you get it;
Portraiture = A school of photography
"A day in the life of..." is a name/title oft used by others before you.

Doing a portrait is not copying the first guy to ever do a portrait. Copying the exact style of someone else's portrait IS.

Using "A day in the life of..." is, well, using exactly the same name of many other photographic studies/books done... hmmm. But hey, it's your project... copy someone else's creative thought if you want. I'm sure you'll find some way to make it different, or distinctly yours, right?

Next time, I'll just say, "awesome, great idea"
