Default I got it!!!

I didn't go to class today just so I could stay home and sign for my lens.

Also, my Fibromyalgia was acting up and it hurt to walk. I swear it was fate though. The universe was telling me to stay home!

When the UPS guy got here, I was jumping and screaming! I was so excited.

Anyways, I am glad I made this purchase. I was so nervous about it, but it was definitely worth it!
I am glad that my husband broke my 50mm now!

Broken Canon 50mm f/1.8

Canon 70-200mm f 2.8 (7)

Yes! And then hide it from my husband. When I told him I could get it replaced, he said that was awesome and we could return the new lens.

There is no way I am letting this baby go!

It's a great feeling isn't it, the day I got my Sigma I was so excited I couldn't wait to get home to play so ended up taking about 15 pictures on the way home out of the moving car!! Don't worry, I wasn't driving, my wife was whilst trying to explain to the kids why Daddy was all hyper.

How is the Sigma? I was going to get that one before my husband told me I didn't have a limit on what I can spend.

I wanted that one or the Tamron.

And you didn't get the IS?

I'm really enjoying it at the moment although it is severly showing my limitations!!
I found it difficult to chose between the Sigma and Tamron as the reviews seemed to suggest the Tamron optics were slightly better but in the end I chose the Sigma because the HSM made the AF so much quicker and more accurate.
Of course, had my wife given me the "no limit on spend" choice it would have definitely been the Canon (IS or not)!

That's one hell of an upgrade right there.

I wish I were married to your husband
