Default Very O/T - Just a small favor to ask...

From my fellow American DPSers or anyone from anywhere that cares to care...

One of my best friends, SSG Mark J. Hendricks, US Army, is leaving for his fourth tour abroad tomorrow, this time to Afghanistan (he has been in Iraq and Kuwait so far on his last three tours). His current tour is scheduled to last 12- 15 months. If you are the least bit faithful, please pray for him. Mark is very near and dear to my heart and soul and he leaves behind his lovely and beautiful wife, Julianne, and his young son, Joey, who has only been with Mark for two or three Christmases, and will miss being with his daddy again this Christmas.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for any and all well-wishes and/or prayers.

Much love,
Susan

Susan,
Thanks for posting this.
Having people like you, take the time to post something like this, is wonderful.
1. It allows us all to contribute prayers.
2. It shows us, just how each one of our soldiers has a family and friends who cherish them.
3. It reminds us of how much our soldiers leave behind, for our beliefs and our Country.

SSG Hendricks, his family, and fellow soldiers will be in our prayers. May the Lord bless his journey and keep him safe.

And may the Lord, bring comfort to his wife's heart and yours while he is away.

Divot

Default Prayers

Hello Susan,

I wont pray for him or any other brave soldiers, as that is against my beliefs, but I do wish him well and safe.

Australia just lost two brave soldiers in Afganistan this morning (as did US loose 10) These people give their lives for the safety of their fellow citizens (and the world) and get paid very little and deserve our utmost support and accolades.

Cheers,

John W

Being former military, though never served in harms way, I will be wishing for a safe and speedy return of our servicemen and women.

I wish him well! I don't do the prayer thing, but he's got my well-wishes!

Mark will be in my prayers for a safe journey, both physically and emotionally. Julianne and Joey will also be in my prayers. God bless our soldiers and their families.
