Smile Hi everyone!
Just signed up!

I've been a visitor of DPS for quite some time. I'm a long time (very) amateur photographer and I've been using my camera in full-auto for as long as I can remember and I'm trying to change that!

I'm shopping around for the best price on a Canon T2i. I've had the extreme luck of using one during my last visit to the Botanical Garden of Montreal (I'm a sucker for plants and insects macro, as you can see on my Flickr Page...) and I've fallen in love.

If (nay, WHEN) I get my brand new toy, I want to be able to use it so here I am! I'll be lurking around, trying to absorb wisdom and techniques.

I have a strong feeling that it will be an enlightining journey.
