Default Help staying logged in please.

Can anyone please tell me why I have to log in again every day even though I tick the "Remeber me" box? I run CCleaner at the end of every day or I end up having problems with IE freezing but I have added the site to the exclusions which worked before, it is only in the last couple of weeks I've been having the problem.
I know it's only a small problem but it is annoying all the same, my memory is not good enough to remember to log on each day .

Thanks, in advance, for any help.

Staying logged in has to do with your cookies. If CCleaner is deleting your cookies, then that'll log you off. See if you can tell it to not delete your cookies.

Sorry, I phrased it badly, I have told CCleaner to keep the cookies for digital-photography-school.com which is why I don't understand it. Unless the log-in uses a different cookie, in which case that would explain it and I would appreciate it if someone could tell me what that cookie is.
Thanks for the suggestion though.

I did try Firefox once (albeit quite a while ago) and it seemed to have a lot of problems as well as being quite slow. Has it been improved significantly recently?

Must have been the original beta. Firefox has run rings around IE for years.

Same, Firefox has become a buggy, bloated shell of it's former self.

To the OP: you're still deleting the cookie necessary to stay logged in. The only way to stop it would be to stop deleting your cookies with ccleaner.

Is that in ie or ccleaner when you say you've told it not to delete the ones for this url? I ask because if it's still deleting it you've not actually told it not to delete it.

In CCleaner, I don't bother clearing out the histroy in IE as CCleaner does such a good job. I am signed up to another forum and am not having the problem with that, which is why I am starting to think that the url for signing in is different from the main site cookie.

Delete all the cookies then only go to this site and log in. Then keep all the cookies generated. Then you'll know what to keep, because you'll only have cookies from coming here and logging on.
