Question Shooting in Sedona, Grand Canyon and Monument Valley...advice?

Hey All,

I'm about to head out west for the first time to see some amazing natural wonders.

Let me list what'll be in my bag
Canon 40D
Canon 7D
Sigma 15-30mm
Canon 24-70mm f2.8L
Canon 70-200mm L f4 USM IS

I'll only have about a day in each place and would like to maximize my shooting at each location. If any of you have SPECIFIC places where I should go, then please let me know.

Also, I had a horrible experience with shipping a lens via USPS. I borrowed my brother's 70-200mm f2.8L USM IS. He sent it to me and it arrived yesterday. Basically it is broken. Luckily he got $2000 insurance on the package. But, I had to rent some glass to replace that lens that I was hoping to take with me. I did some comparison and found that Lensgiant.com had the best prices. I emailed them with some questions and had a response within 15 minutes! I'm very pleased with their service so far. They're even shipping to my house in MI and letting me return it from AZ.

OK, so how about those recommendations?

Take a tripod with you and shoot in the dawn and dusk hours to capture that "Magic" light.

Not really..........do a google search for each area you're going too, maybe you can find some good photographic locations. While there visit shops and look at the post cards of other scenes that local photographers have taken.
Good luck and have fun!
