LaVeta Colorado is a very artsy community nestled in the foothills of the Rockies. Many a world renown artist resides there.
Every year the SPACe (Spanish Peaks Arts Council) hosts a photography show. Last year one of my black and whites took first place. This year I took second place with a photo that I was surprised won. Entered 4 and this was one I didnt think would even place. Goes to show, you'll never know what the judges will choose

But 2nd....well done. It is so subjective, one can never guess what will catch a juries eyes.
