Default Wapiti strap

Disclosure: Wapiti sponsored the 2010 NPPA Multimedia Immersion, which I helped organize. This was a freebie.

Holy cow this strap (Bugle) is great. I've barely used it, and I already love it way more than the D700, D300 or Nikon Pro Services straps I have. Super comfy, perfect size. Doesn't bunch up my clothes the way the other straps do.

Too narrow for my liking.

Just looking at it. I can't stand narrow straps (I've tried a few). I vastly prefer a nice wider strap: at least as wide as the Nikon one.

This one is way different than other narrow straps.

I'm not so keen on traditional neck-straps - I use this one The Flash Centre - Sun Sniper Strap and it's absolutely brilliant. It's apparently based on a 19th century US Cavalry rifle sling, which was designed to allow Cavalrymen to be able to grab their rifle, fire it, and let it go again while riding a horse - the military always get the best ideas first...

I also have a hand-strap on my camera, which feels nice and secure, and makes it harder to drop.
