Default You have GOT to be Bloody Kidding!

Greetings;

I don't know where to post this, but if anyone from DPS actually reads this, perhaps they can figure out how to somehow respond.

Several months ago, I accepted an auto-invitation from DPS to sign up for the newsletter.

Although I accepted back then, every time I access the site, I am interrupted by the screen going black and another popup invitation to sign up for the newsletter.

I just tried AGAIN, to use their "Contact Us" link to let them know about it. While I was writing the information, my screen went black again, with another invitation.

(The Repeated, Repeated, Repeated Interruptions can Really Piss a Person Off, especially when that person is actually trying to Help DPS).

The interruptions stopped, and I was finally able to finish the information. When I clicked the "Submit" prompt, I received the message: "No Verification Code Generated", although I completed the varification code.

Yes, the Bloody Verification Code/Submit Prompt are screwed up as well.

Since all of these things happened again today, I thought that although for some sick and twisted reasons, the accepting of the newsletter has nothing to do with accessing the forum because they are different, I figured I would try to find someone who might be able to assist who is "different" from DPS, or otherwise not employed by them, so I might be able to get a response that makes sense.

Does anyone have any ideas as to:

A), Whether or not DPS is worth the wasted time?
B), If there is any way to somehow address the repeated Popup Invitation Interruptions?
C), Whether or not DPS has a clue about their Verification Code Problem?

Thank you very much!

Yeah, I get that pop up too, when viewing the blog.

Cool first post.

I read

RAAWWRRRR YARRRGGHHHHH RAAWWWWRR ANTAGONISTIC RHETORICAL QUESTION RAWWWWR

It pops up now and then when cruising the blog. It takes about 2 seconds and a second longer to click close on it. Try some meditation and activities that don't require instant gratification or other people to think that you are the most important issue on a popular website with over 100 000 members.

The question of DPS being any good doesnt require an answer. You have either decided for yourself or just want a reaction which from the group of level headed people that are here you aren't going to get.

If a couple of seconds of your time is too much to ask to stop a popup that you percive as a problem and your first post in the forum is rage rant RAWWWWRRR, then you may want to consider posting after a cup of tea and a nap. You may also want to consider whether or not you have the patience to join in with the great people in here to learn tips and techniques that would cost you thousands elsewhere.

Have a relax and go take some pictures to post so we can start helping you out on a new happy note

I appreciate your good wishes.

Your assertion that I was out to rile the masses is crap.

You don't know me and I don't know you, so I will chalk your "Rawr" gibberish up to some kind of myopic Forum Loyalty.

After burning a half hour trying to actually HELP DPS, you're damn right that I was pretty pissed off after All of the dead-ends. You didn't say "Thank You" for my help.

I suppose tossing out semi-catty remarks is more important to you than perhaps addressing other issues with DPS, such as The Verification Code problem, or having to sign in twice just to post on the forum...

Cheers and Snarl.

I know a good therapist....

I like the use of the word myopic. I doubt you see the humour in it in a photography forum. Then again i doubt you see humour in much.

email support. Try being polite it may get an answer.

Have a fantastic day sweetheart

P.S.Thank you for helping you are a credit to the intragooglewebnets communisphere.

Wow, dang, you sure do judge a lot, when all I was doing was bitching about how difficult it was to try to Help DPS, and find out if it was actually worth it.

As I said, I tried to email support, but the "Submit" prompt does not accept its own Verification Code.

I find humor in lots of things, actually. Just because I gigged you because you gigged me, does not mean I don't believe you know a therapist. I just don't believe you know a "good" one.

Now, strap that red ball back in your mouth, get back on your knees and Pose!
