Hi! I'm not proffesional yet, but I'll answer some questions. I hope it's a help.
1. I first thought that I'd like to become a photographer (as a profession) when I was an exchange student out of country. I did not have a camera at the time, but loved taking pictures, especially on a hike, trip, or day off. My really good friend always wanted the pictures (memories and scenic) but hated having the "bother" of taking the pictures. So, I got started and I got compliments on my photographic skills. So, I started my journey towards buying a camera and it began. 2. I did a certificate program because from speaking to photographers, I found that most people don't look at your credentials, but they look at if you can do what they want, your skill. 3. I am still in the starting out stages and working on a few of my own projects, I have not been employed in any type of photography position. 4. I became a photographer because I want to share my vision with the world, I want to preserve the beaty of the world and the people around us. I get a thrill when i see a photograph which makes me think and if I could make one of those, I have an even bigger thrill! 5. The most challenging thing while taking a photo is getting all the parts of the picture to somehow come together, whether it's a portrait or a flower, the picture needs to show or tell something, getting the parts to work together is the most difficult. 6. Patience! 7. I'm a big nature photographer, so my choice of backgrounds would be a clean look of bushes or something like that. 13. it could take hundreds, but I've learned patience (allow your patience with the camera to spill over to your patience for people - photography is a great teacher!) and to not give up! 17. I'm really bad about that. It's one of my goals to actually pick up my camera every day (I'm not a full-time photographer - more like the weekend kind so far) But when I do, I usually take around 50 - 100 pictures. Again, I'm not yet professional. I hope these answers help you. I don't know why you need this, but I hope it helps. |
