Default Would you download free wallpapers?
How likely are you to download a free wallpaper of a photo? I'm planning to include it on my website but don't know how popular it would be.

I would not personally download wallpapers. I create my own with my photos.

Use your own photos. If you do download somebody else's photo to include in your web gallery, it's representation of your own work.

I think the op means to offer an image of their own for others to download.

I often download a wallpaper if I like it. I change them pretty often, I don't like to keep the same one for too long.

I update my blog once in a while with whatever background I am currently using (images taken by me) and offer a reduced resolution download (large enough for most screens)

I think that free wallpaper is pretty popular since there are tons of free wallpaper sites around. I belong to Surfrider and they have a wallpaper of the month. What I really like, and what may be good for a photographer (depending on the type of images), is that Surfrider includes both a desktop wallpaper and sizes for a Blackberry or any other PDA. Here's a link to one one from last year...
