Default Shooting at an angle

I love portraits shot at an angle. My question is, do most of you actually SHOOT at an angle or crop the photo at an angle in post processing? Are there tips you can share on how to do it properly while shooting?

Default Explore angles

Though i am not a photographer, am just stepping in but still my qoute "The one with Camera, if does not move around, sits down, at times lay down or go a bit up before pressing the shutter.....is not at all a photographer". So move around you have 720 degrees to explore or if u want it more easy for each degree moved either side you have 360 option (Up and Down) so just make out the possibilities and you would know that ur best pic lies some where there in those degrees
Best of luck please before pressing shutter move around and find the best angle

heartfeltgreetings: What do you mean by "angle"? A camera works in 3 dimensional space. Are we talking pitch (camera straight from body, pointing up or down vertically), roll (camera straight from body, rolling on itself side to side) or yaw (camera flat in fnort of body, turning left and right in a single plane)?

lazawal09: I couldnt understand your post. Not even close.

I am going out on a limb here and assume that they meant if you don't move around and find clever angles to shoot at, then you are not shooting at your full potential?

You really can't figure it out? The first clue is in the op's post:

"...do most of you actually SHOOT at an angle or crop the photo at an angle in post processing?"

Or do you know how to change pitch or yaw in post processing?

Whatever angle it is you do it in camera.

Changing angle in PP is just a pain in the arse.

Agreed! Rotating in PP is definitely a royal pain.

This was done in-camera:

"Yay, picture time!!! Am I smiling big enough? Am I? AM I?????"

Just a tip for the OP....

When you angle a shot in camera make sure you give it some real angle like the above examples. Not just a little tilt. Otherwise it just looks like you cant hold a camera properly.
