Default Dof button

why don't camera manufacturers add a built in circuit or gadget that brightens the viewfinder when you press the dof button. specially at the smallest aperture.

umm, because that's not really possible. When you stop the lens down, the aperture closes to what you've set it to. If that's a small aperture, it means there's very little light coming in. Even if they put an LED in the viewfinder, it really doesn't help because it doesn't help with the light coming in.

maybe some of their engineers can think up of some way to brighten it up like they did with night vision.

D/SLR DOF preview offers WYSIWYG. Otherwise, we will buy EVIL (Electronic Viewfinder Interchangeable Lens) instead.
