Default learning the lingo...
Is there somewhere I can go to read up on all the lingo that is used? LOL I know that sounds like a stupid question, but when I am reading some posts I get lost because I don't know what some thing is and I end up googling after so many posts! If there is a website that I could just study that would be great!

By lingo I mean equipment descriptions and nicknames ex: hot shoe flash, nifty fifty, strobe... I know the basic idea of what these are, but not really.

Any websites that you recommend for reading up about this stuff?

Sounds like you're doing the right thing by Googling. Curiousity might have killed the cat, but so far most photographers have gotten by unscathed.

Don't feel bad about it, I wouldn't expect to learn another way.
