Default My Gear

Messin' around the house today, my day off, trying to get my gear lined out and organized and thought I should try getting a photo or two of my gear laid out. So, I dug my girlfriends Canon SD1000 out of her purse and started sorting. I did accomplish getting the bodies, lens' and speedlites out.

Now if I can get through the cases, lighting, filters and so on, I might just be able to get this stuff organized a little better so I can find things. I might get on that later, I need a break now.

P.S. The countdown to the Spring Chicago-area DPS Photowalk has begun. See everyone at Starved Rock in 19 days!

I'm looking closely & I think I even see a kitchen sink on that table! VERY NICE COLLECTION!

Nice collection! I got the same problem, I really wish I had a dedicated storage locker for all my gear. Currently I have to store everything in my closet which makes organization hard. I can't tell you how many times I've been searching all over my house for a memory card or filter. Thankfully I'm very good about putting my bodies and lens in the same place. Everything else however not so much.

I think I've lost my tripod 4 times now but it always turns up. hehe

I am in the same boat as well. I have stuff in my bedroom ( i no longer have my own home) stuff in the room where I matt and frame. stuff in the garage, stuff in my trailer and stuff in my gallery.
Sounds like we have a universal problem and should try and figure it out by everyone sending me your equipment and let me do some layouts.

A dedicated barristers bookcase is nice... allows you to display, organize and keep the dust at bay at the same time!

Other than the garage I have one room in my house I can call mine. I've got a book case I use for some of my gear. Bottom shelf holds my Pelican case which holds most of my gear. The middle shelf holds my camera bag, and portfolio. The top shelf holds my lap top, and portable hard drives. The very top of the book case just has skulls on it.

My closet has 2 gun safes, all my lighting gear, and 2 tripods.

I built a rack in the garage that holds all my light stands.
