Default Suggestions on a Nation Park for a photo-vacation

I'm planning on taking a long weekend vacation and I'm looking to visit a nation park (Yellow Stone, Yosemite etc...)
I'm still pretty new to dslr and looking for this to be some great experience in landscape and some nature macro photography.

Basically looking for some suggestions on the best place to spend a few days taking landscape/macro/wildlife shots. I'm up for a little hiking, but I'd rather spend more time shooting then walking.

my gear: d5000, 18-55 vr, 50-200 vr, and a 50mm prime 1.4g, 600 speedlite

+1 Yellowstone

Landscape : Almost from the road.
Yellowstone River

Wildlife: In the hotel grounds.
I don't care.

Macro's: Well they are everywhere.

Zion in Utah can be interesting...and only a few hours from Vegas which in itself can be a plethora of interesting scenic and subject matter

It's a bit out of the way, but I really enjoyed my time in katmai and Denali (in Alaska). Just be sure to bring a very very very long lens.

I also vote Yellowstone. The hot springs alone are worth the trip. I haven't been there since I got into photography, but it's first on my list. My second stop is going to be the Badlands, barren yet so beautiful.

Thanks, think I'm going for Yellowstone. Also think I might rent a 50-500mm lens for the occasion too.
