I was wondering how many people keep blown up version of their own photos as wall hangings? I think that's a pretty cool idea but don't know who can blow up a photo to such a size? Kinko's maybe ?

I have several 24x36 and 20x24 posters of my own photos. Some I printed through mpix, others through adoramapix. Both are good, very high quality.

i have a 4x6 photo printer and i print out tons of my photos and hang them up. so when ppl come in they can see my entire portfolio lol. but as far as getting them blown up basically anyone could do it for you for a fee. just make sure your photos are around 300 resolution. in order to be really sharp and not pixely

I'm thinking of getting a couple of my shots done like this

Actually, having 300ppi is really NOT necessary for large prints. The larger the print, the farther away you'll be when you view it -- so being super-duper high resolution is unnecessary. The prints I mentioned above are around 150 and 200 ppi, respectively, and look great.

We have clients coming to our home on a regular basis, and many of which are somewhat clueless about sizes, B/W vs color, sepias, paper types, arrangements, etc. So we have a broad selection of our family shots mounted and framed in various sizes throughout our house for them to view. Very often we will have to design the arrangements for them after they make their enlargement purchase decisions.

I just moved to my new place and my girl suggested I should put some up. There's a FedEx Kinkos down the street and they do have pretty big sizes for wall hangings.

I have a 50x75 cm print and a 80x80 cm canvas of my photos hanging on my walls
The canvas is pretty cool. It looks like it's been painted, it's water and light proof and doesn't reflect like a glossy print so you can actually see the photo.

I have a few of my own hanging up (only 11x14" because my walls aren't nearly big enough to do much larger). I'd totally do a large canvas of one or two of my shots if I had the room. I've seen them at the place that sells them, and I'd love to have one on my wall.
