I'm not quite sure what you're asking, I presume English isn't your first language?

Are you asking how many of us have done self portraits (In which case the poll numbers make no sense) or are you asking how many portraits we take (which seems more likely given the numbers, although they do all start with one)?

Why would you take a self-portrait ?

I thought the whole point of being a photog is that you are BEHIND the camera

not really.. i hate pictures of me.. but i'm the most willing model i'll ever find so why not.
plus, its about the learning not the vanity

i learned more than i could have ever imagined from my portrait project.
i did half of the "fiftytwo" and then got too busy so i quit.. but those 6 months of 1 portrait a week was a massive learning curve.

i'd recommend it if you really want to advance quickly.

i dont have a shutter release cable, so without that i have only really done two or three self portrait sets.
