Tried it twice,
I believe I lasted about a week if that.

I just don't find myself an interisting enough subject to take a photo of me every day for a year.

I'm a part of the threesixtyfive and fiftytwo groups, as well - which I found after surfing the forums here. I thought it was a daunting task when I first started, but I'm 87 days in now and have truly enjoyed the challenge. I think I learn something new every day - or even a few times a day - either from my own self-portrait or someone else's.

One problem that I noticed about two months in was that I was so invested in taking a quality picture for threesixtyfive, that I wasn't taking pictures of anything but myself! So, with the start of 2008, I embarked on a "daily pleasures" endeavor - 366 days (leap year!) of things that make me smile.

I love the challenge of both of these projects - although, admittedly, doing both (or either!) takes a lot of time!

Wow, it's so nice to see some of my fellow threesixtyfive friends here. Yes, I am doing threesixtfive also. It's very good. Most of the time it's just all around excellent. But sometimes I get very frustrated with it, but that's probably just me.

I am up to day onehundredandfortysomething, even though I am not up to posting onehundredandfortysomething, but that's what I'm up to.. in my camera.
You can see my set here...

I am not currently smart enough to do one of those "click here" thingos, someone taught me once but I've forgotten again of course. So you will just have to click on that nice long link if you would like to see them.
I try to have variety in them, it seems to be working out nicely so far.

I'm positive I had other things to say but I seem to have forgotten...

Oh and I plan to stay until the very end. And when I am finished I am going to make a personal scrapbook, just for me, to look back on the year that was.

3 cheers for threesixtyfive I say!

I'm currently active in threesixtyfive (here's my set). I'm on day 148 today, and it's been super fun and a great learning experience. It forces me to pick up my camera everyday and try to be creative even if I don't feel like it. I've gained a lot of confidence and experience working in manual mode, using a tripod, experimenting with lighting, and more. Finally, the group is a bunch of really friendly people who are very supportive! I love it.

No, I haven't done a 365 project. I don't always have the time to photograph everyday, and frankly I'm not always in the mood to take the camera out everyday. I have thought about doing a "52" project though, since my goal is to do something photographically everyweek. If I do, then it would likely be in conjuction with starting up a photo blog.

I'm doing this also. Im having fun with it. even if i dont have an interesting subject i usually use the flickr tool collage thing and ill put some not so interesting pictures together to make a story of sorts. But I'm having lots of fun. I belong to the 365+1 group on flickr. Here is my Set. Its also my new years resolution because i started it on Jan 1st. Plus this way my husband wont bug me about not using my camera everyday.

151 days in... although its more an ongoing rather than a targeted length of 365. Same deal though, one a day. Heres my latest :-)

I've found the one a day very rewarding and I think my shots have improved over the last 150 days. The hardest thing was accepting that same days my shots are going to be nothing special and that 'that was OK'.

Doing Project 365. I just can't do self-potraits for a whole year. Even though I'm just 36 days in, the past month, I was on vacation and stuck at home. I was going crazy taking pictures of everything at home.

I think people who finish the project and take awesome shots are amazing. Kudos to you all.

woo. haha.
