Default I dont know why it bothers me

But it does, The "capture a stranger" thread in the games and challenges section appears to have around 75% or more of its posts from one person, each of his posts contain 3 or 4 photos and each photo is quite large, it appears to me that this is not really a game or challenge but rather has turned into a Share your shots thread but without the limitations of the share your shots.

If I am out of line with this then just tell me,I think I really just wanted to air my opinion so hopefully it will stop bugging me

I can see why it would annoy you. It's not that someone is outright breaking the rules but they're definitely stretching the limits.

Your thread is actually timely for me. I work for a high end home furnishing company. We have sample sales for the corporate employees and since many of the larger items like sofas are one off, we have a drawing for each piece. We get a defined period of time to check stuff out and put our names in for the drawings. When I was at our sale yesterday I saw a woman standing next to me put her name in one of the bags after the time was up to enter names...long after. It's not like she dumped out all of the other names and left her own but it was still a bit shady.

Hopefully it made you feel a bit better to get it out. I know just sharing my story made me feel a bit better because yesterday I was really annoyed.

Finally someone said it!!!! Thanks!
It bothers me a lot and I know why!
Honestly I was going to mention this but then I realize that mods are doing nothing with this issue. Yes, I call it the issue.
I would write more about this but I'm on my work and don't have time...

I checked it out.

It's funny.

It's obviously a vanity thread for the one who started it. Th ebest is that most of his shots are mediocre at best, and border on the exploitative -- lots of women, young women, bust & booty shots. Very voyeuristic, but nothing else to say about them. I would just ignore it, let it go, if you want to showcase your own street shots there are better places to do so.

Let him have his sandbox.

It was noticed when that thread began, and except for resizing the too-big original posts and PMing about that, there isn't much restriction in Games and Challenges. We rely on the adult sense of fairness and appropriateness in most cases, and the one thing you can do is just not go there. And voice your concern here, as has been done. If you PM the OP, try to keep it civil, and maybe he will try another way.

Usually the poster has seemed to want to encourage others to do the street scene kind of shooting, and to keep the thread alive by posting his shots. Maybe your posts will help him see another better way of handling that.

I don't know why it bothers you either. He did start the thread, and hardly anyone else ever posts in it anyway. If he didn't keep posting then it would be buried at the bottom of the pile.
If it annoys you, don't look at it.

It doesn't bother me either after all its under "games and challenges" a forum I rarely enter. Like the pp said its his thread, he started it and he just likes to comment on other people's photos - nothing wrong with that.

I like doing street photography but tend to upload those onto flickr because no-one replies to my photos on here anyway!

That's very true.

I do have a question to all who complained here, did you try to contact this person and tell them how you feel? It's not nice to talk behind someone's back. This is suppose to be a friendly and supportive forum.
