Question Wanderlust!

I love travel photography. I'm sure a lot of you do. I'm thinking of going to Seville(Spain) in a week or so. Well, I do have a new camera to get to know!

Ill health has held me back from travelling in the last couple of years, but I'm feeling more able now AND, I can leave the wife at home. She is a head chef and works too much, but doesn't mind me sloping off to foreign climes for a week or so.

What places would you like to travel to?

I would love to travel around Asia because it's a place I haven't been. I'd probably also enjoy going to Africa at some point, but parts of Asia seem to be where I'm leaning more for if / when I ever have time or money for a real vacation.

Asia is a place I'd love to go as well. There's such a rich vein of photographic gold there, with such diverse lifestyles. The colours are also so sumptious. It seems that every pic I see from there develops a deeper desire to travel to that wonderous continent. Ah well, when I can afford it too!

I went to Berlin before Christmas and forgot to bring my bloody camera.

I would like to go back there. I'd like to capture some of the desolation of the soviet architecture there and also the wonderment of the Christmas markets.

Well that was the plan...but by the time I got there I'd forgotten to do that too and then I couldn't find any. I'm just made of fail really, plus we were only there for 2 nights so I didn't have the time I would've really wanted to take some good ones.

There are a lot of places I'd like to travel (and photograph).

Germany -- I went in High School and would love to go back.

Ireland, Scotland, England, Australia ...

There are places in the States I'd like to visit (or re-visit) too ...

I'd also like to see the ocean up close some time in my life.

I really hope you get to do that. The power and beauty is absolutely amazing. Maybe you can come visit my beautiful home state!

As for the original question, I would love, love, love to go to Greece. I'd also like to go to Australia with my husband. I lived there as a child and both my husband and I have been there separately as adults just not together.

I've been to Greece many times. It is a wonderful place with really friendly people. If you try to speak Greek, they will treat you like a family member. Then you get taken to some secret little places that tourists seldom see. Which is a real bonus.
